Art by Snails: SNAIL TRAIL!!
Snails: slippery little suckers, that most of us consider a nuisance. Most of us, however, have no idea that these little creatures also happen to be surprisingly talented artists!
This set of photographs captures the movements of a humble family of snails over a discarded plastic outdoor table. The aftermath of their slow, slimy journeys has produced a series of astonishingly graphic patterns: nature’s version of modern art!
So… next time you see a snail on the footpath… kneel down, pick it up gently, and place it on a leaf: and be happy in the knowledge that you have just saved an exceptional artist who has no idea of their hidden talent!!

Sarah and Alessia completed their Master of Architecture at the University of Melbourne together, before becoming ARBV registered architects. Having always worked well as a complimentary team and with a mutual passion for multi-disciplinary design, they decided it was time to join forces, and EVERY was the culmination. - Won the Tesseract International Design Competition in 2011 & 2012
- Visited Italy for numerous design and trade events and is a bi-lingual studio.
- Had architectural and design experience with world renowned firms in Vienna and Italy
- Taught design studios in the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Melbourne from 2010-2012.
- Written articles for one of Australia’s largest online publications, Broadsheet.
- Has volunteered for numerous community organisations such as Animals Australia, Edgar’s Mission Animal Sanctuary, PBS Community Radio and Radio Valerie.
