Fredy Santiago is an illustrator from the Midwest (Holland, Michigan). He was born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico for 13 years and discovered a passion for drawing at a very young age. He finds inspiration in street art, cartoons, vintage paraphernalia, and spectral vibrancy. Fredy uses a variety of colors in his art which derive directly from his Mexican background. His artwork is composed from subjects and feelings which reflect the beauty and honesty of youth; facing the threats that we encounter everyday as we mature, and how those experiences affect who we become in the future. The art challenges concepts centered on perfection, perception, and disposition. His work can be seen through a variety of platforms, both in digital and traditional media context. He has a strong affinity for Star Wars, the beach, and developing a stylized technique in his work.
