From The Guardian: The Gaga spectacle is brand-content synergy perfected and it’s proved so successful that it will surely produce an entire generation of imitators. For better or worse, this is the future of media. Just like Miracle Whip, content, celebrity and advertising will all be poured into a giant machine, sweetened, watered down and emulsified into a mysterious goo. And just like we learned to abide 20 minutes of adverts before a feature film, we’ll grow to accept the incoming regime of scandalous celebrity brand-speak.
