The famous Kanye Wests photographer, Nabil Elderkin is an Australian photographer/film director based out Los Angeles California. Nabil got his first break into the industry when he befriending Kanye West after purchasing his Domain name before being signed to a deal on Roc-A-Fella Records. In exchange for the domain name, Roc-A-Fella executives agreed to arrange a meeting between to the two giving Nabil a chance to shoot Kanye’s first publicity photos. I was never really an enthusiast of Jordan footwear most of my life but was always fascinated with the designs, the culture, and of course the player himself. However, one mustn’t deny the cultural impact of the Air Jordan brand over the past two decades in the history of fashion. Air Jordan has carved its name in the fashion bible as one of the most largest fashion movements in the world with no signs of slowing down. A couple of weeks ago I came with an idea to put together some of the best photographs I seen taken by everyday people expressing their love for Air Jordans. I found inspiration while browsing through some photos on tumblr and came across some of the sickest sneaker photography, something I have never seen in my life. I figured If I can put together some photographs of my discovery, perhaps I can inspire more people to take more pictures and hopefully continue this series in the long run.
