BUG Music Videos 5th Birthday app
BUG Music Videos has released its first mobile app, available to download for free on iPhone and Android handsets, in celebration of its 5th birthday.
The app is released as BUG reaches the 5th anniversary of its first ever show at the BFI Southbank in London hosted by Adam Buxton on 26 April 2007, and shortly after the 30th edition of BUG (subtitled The Evolution Of Music Video) at the BFI. The app also arrives as BUG begins recording a new TV version of the show – Adam Buxton’s BUG – for broadcast later in the year.

Amazing video by Jim Campbell, inspired by a Nike sponsored art project, shot in multiple scenarios and locations around Europe. Inspiring work and great insight into the creative process.
“This started out as my contribution to a Nike sponsored arts based project, where a number of individuals were supplied with a pair of Nike trainers and asked to create a piece that ‘challenged the function of the shoes, using sport as an inspiration’.
My take on this was that since Nike first started making running shoes in 1978, we no longer just use them solely for running, but that we LIVE our life in them. Anyway I ended up far too busy with client work to finish this for the deadline so I stepped away from the project and just finished this for myself.”
