Cherokee Paper Sculptures
Having an uncle who is a travel writer has always brought my brother and I amazing artifacts and oddities from all over the world. Recently he went to the North Pole from Alaska via a Russian nuclear ice breaker. Along with minor levels of radioactivity he also brought back these incredible images of paper sculptures of Native American scenes by Allen & Patty Eckman. These stunningly detailed sculptures may only be made from paper – but they are being snapped up by art fans for tens of thousands of pounds. The intricate creations depict Native American scenes and took up to 11 months to make using a specially formulated paper. Find out more at www.wickedpaedia.com
