Eva Movie Main Titles
An amazing opening sequence for the futuristic sci-fi movie “Eva” by the Barcelona based Dvein studio, the first feature film by Spanish director Kike Maíllo. “Eva is a retrofuturistic sci-fi thriller in which Alex, a young scientist, returns to the town where he grew up to complete an unfinished project and create a boy robot. We were very inspired by the whole aesthetical universe of the film: the snow, the vintage laboratories, the old machinery… and we tried to put all this together in the titles so that they would slowly introduce the viewers to the world of Eva.”

The Huge – Losing My Religion
A beautiful cover of the classic and well known R.E.M “Losing My Religion” by The Huge under the ZOMAPOP label. “Try to think about George Michael performing R.E.M. Losing My Religion …done? good, now think about George Michael not playing it his way but in slight different style, felt deeply, unplugged and pushed by a passion that comes straight from soul music…the song could be summarized like that, if only it wasn’t that reductive. The Huge gives life to a classic pop song again, trying not to force it but indeed playing R.E.M hit single Losing My Religion in a new, easier and modern way.”

Amy Shackleton Paintings
Another different painting technique by artist Amy Shackleton without use of a brush or fingers. “Amy Shackleton paints post-industrial worlds that blur the boundaries between what is urban/rural, real/surreal and concrete/organic. Drawing inspiration from her own global travels and photographs, Shackleton fuses opposing worlds to create her own visions of the future. Shackleton’s technique is calculated yet spontaneous reflecting her urban and natural inspiration.
