Inside Rachel Bilson’s Home for Lonny

Douglas Friedman photographed Rachel Bilson for the latest issue of Lonny, a bimonthly online magazine that focuses on home decor and lifestyle.

For the shoot, Friedman observed the actress in her living room, a sort of oasis in the L.A. abode she shares with boyfriend Hayden Christensen. “It was great to capture a subject with a youthful point of view – she was a breath of fresh air with her independent sense of style,” he remarked. “I particularly like the cover image … there is something wonderfully retro, late-seventies-chic about it … I felt transported.”

Makeup Artist Amy Chance Is ‘The One’ for Sky Ferreira

Amy Chance’s talent was tested on the set of Sky Ferreira’s “You’re Not the One” video shoot. “The clothes that Sky expected to wear didn’t arrive to the location because the stylist had a family emergency, and we went into problem-solving mode,” the makeup artist explained. “Sky turned to me and said, ‘It’s up to you … it’s going to have to be about the makeup.’ Of course, I felt bad that Sky was disappointed; however, at the same time, I was excited for the rare opportunity to create a makeup look that was in no way dependent on the styling.”

Drawing inspiration from the song – “it’s a breakup anthem; she’s fed up, she’s done, and she’s moving on” – and working with faux wet hair, Chance used Chanel Automatic Liquid Liner in Noir and Lancôme Hypnôse mascara in Noir for Ferreira’s cat eyes.

This September Celine Dion and husband René Angélil put their famous “waterpark house” in Florida on the market for $72 million. Let’s take a look at the magnificient estate.

Celebrity Homes-Celine Dion’s Waterpark HouseCelebrity Homes- Celine Dion’s Waterpark House
Located in the exclusive Floridian Jupiter Island, the house was built in 2010 specially for the celebrity singer. The property has five individual pavillions including a double four bedroom guest house, a tennis house with simulated golf range leading to the tennis court; a pool house with built-in grill and separate kitchen; and a cozy beach house with second floor sleeping loft and massage room. The most exciting feature is the waterpark, which was the solution Celine Dion and her husband found when it became so difficult for them to visit theme parks as a family without being besieged by fans. There are two pools, a treehouse, bridges, slides and a “lazy river.” And…a third pool overlooking the ocean.
