‘Coloured Dreams’ display the many sides of Beatsofreen, as he moves effortlessly from more traditional Dilla-esque beats to experimental forms like the intro track ‘Behind Us.’ His ability to subtly blend different instrumentations, while keeping the entire structure intact is really what caught our ears. We are definitely sure this will be the start of many good releases to come from this man on Darker Than Wax.
