The Tennessee Aquarium is now home to over 80 baby cuttlefish which hatched from an egg mass last month. Newborn cuttlefish are called ‘cuttlets’ and upon hatching, they’re ready to hunt for food. vie Hungeree.
A shoal of sardines inadvertently served themselves up as a meal for a Bryde whale, a striped marlin, and a pair of sea lions in a series of photos taken by Doug Perrine. When the sardines spotted the Bryde whale, they swarmed together and formed a bait ball as a defensive mechanism but the whale opened its maw and gulped down a school of sardines. via Hungeree.

Big Major Spot Island in the Bahamas is also known as ‘Pig Beach’ because of the feral but friendly pigs that live there. Visitors who sail up to the island are greeted by athletic pigs who paddle out to the boats in anticipation of free food and vittles. In the past few years, tourists have spoiled the pigs by handing out whole sandwiches, vegetables, pieces of meat, and other foodstuffs that the animals have come to take for granted. via Hungeree.
The last working day ahead of us … already thinking about the weekend. Before we leave though, I am sure we’ll still be able to digest something new from the World of design and inspiration. I would like to recommend an artwork called Salsa Invertebraxa by Mozchops. This illustrations is quite original … very dynamic if you’ll take a closer look. If you’re into super realistic illustrations, you shouldn’t miss Queen of Hearts by Ana Fagarazzi. Love the seductive look in hear eyes. Lower down, in the 3d section we’re featuring another artwork by Thomas Bernos. Just can’t get enough of these puppets. The last artwork I would like to present in this intro is called In Bloom II by Diego Fernandez .. love the concept and realization. Makes it look so old school. Anyway, maybe you’re gonna prefer other artworks featured today … there is just so much quality and all of us have slightly different taste. Enjoy!

By moonlight, this unearthly microverse becomes a nightmare shadowscape as the two kleptomaniacs attempt to steal eggs from monstrous super-predators. The tranquillity of eden trembles with war and rage, as a deadly game of survival plays out. Salsa Invertebraxa is a magical window into a beautiful, dangerous and mysterious world.
