Richard Sharples ‘Mechanical Aquarium’ installation was a spectacular display of kinetic sea life; installed in a derelict building, an enchanting tribute to marine conservation. The Mechanical Aquarium was set up in the long-abandoned and usually inaccessible Fish and Coal Offices in Kings Cross.
