Works by Sam Hayles
Sam Hayles is an independent design consultant and graphic designer and has experience in working with bands, record companies, DJs, Artists, Music composers since 1999… Based in Edinburgh/Scotland after having lived and worked in France for over a decade, his capabilities span from concept development to design/direction, animation and illustration. He is also a practicing visual artist working across different mediums. Sam spent time as a designer and worked for a few agencies, before becoming totally independant since 2004 to focus on his own design and style and this gave him the chance to grow into the style of design he truly enjoys creating and not be influenced by the various trends that seem to infiltrate the collective output of the design and illustration world.
Beautiful Illustrations and Package Design by Steve Simpson
Based in Ireland, Steve Simpson is a freelance illustrator / designer working in the areas packaging design, illustration and art for children’s books.
Steve takes an organic approach to his projects, blending the disciplines of design and illustration. He spends a great deal of time on construction, shape and problem solving at the pencil stage. Continuously re-drawing until a balance of aesthetics, key brief considerations and client satisfaction have been realized. Approved pencils are then worked up in Photoshop using a limited palette of carefully chosen colours. Steve considers vintage illustration and packaging to be a huge influence on his work particularly the works of Jim Flora, Mary Blair and Ed Emberly. He particularly enjoys combing design for print with illustration and looks forward to further exploration of the world of packaging design. Enjoy the gallery!

40 Cuddly Animals in Creative Advertising Campaigns
We love to see cute, funny, awesome animals, and they can’t be ignored in the world of advertising. Advertisers frequently use animals in ads. There are animals like cats, dogs, owls, monkeys, elephants. Many animals are often perceived as cute, cuddly and friendly.
In this article, we have rounded up some of the most creative advertisements with cuddly animals from Creative Ad Awards. It is such a joy to see some of them, being displayed with a tint of humor, while others are metaphorically presented to snap us out of our misery. Nevertheless, these are very creative and I appreciate the designers who created such amazing ads.
