Spatulas Mirrors
It’s hard to resist the urge to turn our heads whenever we see stuff that reflect us. We pass by these objects and automatically fix our hair or straighten up our clothes. Product designer Jennifer Rabatel saw her reflection when she passed by some hardware tools. It was then she had the idea of mixing humour with the function of scrapers.
Spatulas Mirrors are four mirrors designed to look like building tools: the finishing trowel is a table mirror; the wall spatula scraper is a wall mirror; the putty knife is a hand mirror; and the paint scraper is a pocket mirror that comes with a snug-fit wood casing.
These mirrors are made from stainless steel and lime tree. Metal plates are laser cut while the handles are cut in CNC. Assembly and finishing details are hand crafted for a more refined result.
