Billboard with Messages from Everyday Individuals


This is so cool. Every month, an individual is invited to use a 36-ft long rooftop billboard on the corner of Highland and Baum in Pittsburgh to announce any message they like. Pablo Garcia and Jon Rubin are the designers behind the billboard, while the curative eye of Jon Rubin Billboard guides the project.

New Hyperrealistic Murals by Streetartist MTO


New hyperrealistic Murals by Mateo, also known as MTO graffiti and street artist born and raised in France in Riga/Latvia, Tartu/Estonia and Los Angeles/USA. Between 2006 and 2013 he lived in Berlin however his current location is unknown. Like many graffiti and street artists, personal and background information is sparse. Fortunately his incredible and well documented body of work speaks for itself.

Stamatis Laskos was born in Volos and has a degree from Athens School Of Fine Art. He paints equally good on a canvas or on a wall but he is also extremely good at illustrations. Stamatis paints from tiny canvases to massive scale murals.

You are the street: 40 street artists. 10 cities. 365 ad takeovers

Brandalism (aka advertising defacing, media-jamming or ad takeover) is a form of revolt against corporate control of the visual realm. is one of the biggest anti-advertising campaigns in the world and it’s getting bigger.  Started in July 2012 with a small team in a van, Brandalism has grown tenfold to include teams in 10 UK cities skilled up in taking back space. The most recent Brandalism Takeover in May 2014 saw the reclamation of over 360 corporate advertising spaces with hand made original art works submitted by 40 international artists.

Banksy is an England-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter. His eye-opening street art combines irreverent dark humour with graffiti done in a distinctive stencilling technique. Such artistic works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. Most people say graffiti is ugly, disruptive, pointless, irresponsible, and childish. All of those allegations are flushed down the toilet, when it’s done properly.

“Music has taught me a great deal about connecting with a broad audience. Music is universal. This is a collection of illustrative designs inspired by 1930’s animated cartoons, as well as fashion and typography, as a result I end up combining them into tasteful lockups. The characters are all made out of my doodles I make daily. I always have been a fan of funky cartooney little guys and type, I never work fully in Black & White  I usually work with full on color spectrum, so as you can tell it was a blast. Hope you guys enjoy this project as much as I did making it.
