Chairman Ting x adidas Shanghai – Winter collection
Chairman Ting was invited to collaborate with adidas Shanghai to help create a fun winter themed window display for the launch of the adidas winter collection while promoting Chairman Ting’s art exhibition. Chairman Ting’s art exhibition is currently open for public viewing at the new Shanghai IFC adidas store until the end of December 2010.
Each character design in the store is custom made for adidas by Chairman Ting.

Company Policy & Chairman Ting were approached by IdN, International Designers Network magazine a few months ago to produce a video to celebrate the 100th issue of IdN after seeing our 404 Beach collaborative mural art video.
Shot and produced at the Greenbriar Project in North Vancouver. Photography documentation and equipment generously donated by Osler Zoo Photography (Thanks dudes!).

Feet Mayhem by Chairman Ting for Art & Sole 2010
‘Feet Mayhem’ is an art piece that Chairman Ting created for this year’s Art & Sole event held in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal.
Illustrated entirely by hand with acrylic and marker and it approximately over 20 hours to complete the entire piece.

Fixie window display art installation by Chairman Ting x Tangible Interaction

This simple video projection window display installation was a collaborative art project between Chairman Ting and Tangible Interaction in Vancouver, Canada.
The installation piece was created for only one night during the popular fireworks event to help maximize impact and generate awareness for Single Bicycles, a quality bicycle brand situated in downtown Vancouver on Robson Street.
From concept to production, this art installation took over a month to prepare, execute and test. The custom music track was composed and produced by Tom Pettapiece.

Vinyl Cube is a simple but versatile design object that allows artists to paint and or draw on it’s smooth vinyl surface to create their own custom Vinyl Cube.
The Vinyl Cube emits light from within in various colours and is powered by a built in rechargeable battery unit. This particular Vinyl Cube was created by Chairman Ting.

RethinkTO wall mural art by Chairman Ting
A commissioned wall mural piece for Rethink’s new Toronto office. The wall (25 ft. x 11 ft.) was done in 2.5 days (40+ hours) by Chairman Ting and assisted by Denise Cheung (AKA Denisekiwah). The wall was painted entirely with acrylic paint. Shot and documented with a Nikon D90 + Nikkor 28mm-80mm AF. Cut and edited with Quicktime 7 Pro.

BottleTing is an experimental glass bottle illustration series that was recently started as a personal side art project by Chairman Ting.
‘Upside Up’ is the first of the series and took approximately 3-4 hours including the coating of the base colour.
