Star rain/Lluvia de estrella
Star rain/Lluvia de estrella
Short animated video created for the a show in tijuana, mexico named “Los ultimos de los Jaguares”.
Star rain is a metasigil, a materialized digital wish, a artistic virus that wants to change the operating system of our reality. It is a creation myth that tries to exemplify that all come from the same source from the 5th dimension outside the barrier of space and time, where anything that can be imagined exists.
The 5th dimension is imagination in Einsteisn words is much greater than the knowledge we so much desire and need.
Please enjoy or hate, it is up to you how you co-create your reality.

Here in Mexico we don´t have super heroes, we have Luchadores (Masked Wrestlers), and pop culture in general has absorbed these characters and now they are so popular around the world that one inmediately knows these masked wrestlers come from Mexico.
Dr. Morbito Portraits luchadores as religious, tormented and miraculous idols. Idols that a whole country workships.
Bambi
Bambi is the name of this installation by Mexico’s own Artemio, in which a deer is forced to watch an endless loop of Walt Disney’s Bambi, as a parody of Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange. It’s freaking great!

The fear epidemy!
This is an extract from “The Shock doctrine” by Naomi Klein. Maybe is what we need now in Mexico and in all over the world!
Stop the fear! Freedom! ;-)

Underwater Sculpture

Jason de Caires creates underwater sculptures. Instead of trying to create unchanging and lasting works, he encourages the organic growth of coral and other organisms across his creations. He’s working on a new project in Mexico at the moment, but we caught him on dry land for a few questions.

Masked Mexican Luchadores

Lucha libre (Spanish for “free fight”) is a term used in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking areas to refer to a certain form of professional wrestling involving varied techniques and moves. Outside of these areas, the term is synonymous with the professional wrestling performed in Mexico and other Latin American countries.
Mexican wrestling is characterized by rapid sequences of holds and moves, as well as spectacular high-flying moves, many of which have been adopted in the United States, and colorful masks. Lucha libre performers are known as luchadores (singular luchador).
