You know MTV, that tv channel where they show those awesome clips! Aham, I said awesome clips, the ones that you see between the music videos. Everybody knows MTV for how they revolutionized the way we consume music, but to some is more.

Painstaking handcrafts with digital finesse by Julien Vallée
Julien Vallée was born in Québec, and usually create many innovative artworks out of the screen, as he did for many clients such as AOL, Computer Arts Magazine, MTV, NYT … and joined some exhibitions as well. Now in Montréal, Vallée has started work on a project with Google. But he, as always, look out for new and interesting projects whenever he can.

vjsuave mtv> urban live projection in Sao Paulo
In the middle of the buildings and dark, emerges in Sao Paulo a charismatic character who does not care about the mess of buildings and plunges into the city. Using a projector classic and hard work to produce the drawings, the collective vjsuave played in Sao Paulo nights.

UK based design agency ilovedust have flexed their animation muscles once again with this spot for MTV, as part of MTV’s first creative collaboration with 55DSL. The spot is a departure from what you’d usually expect from an MTV ident, taking you on a psychedelic acid trip journey through the mind of an evil bison skull. Watch it here.

We collaborated with the idea, boards and concepts through the art direction. Designing 3D, camera and compositing for a MTV short animation piece.
