Facebook Campaign to Heal Ariel, the Paralyzed Lion
Ariel, the three-year-old, 140-kilogram lion is the focus of an Internet campaign to raise money needed to treat the paralysis that struck him a year ago, depriving him of the use of his four legs.

Veterinarian Livia Pereira and Ariel’s owner, Raquel Borges, said the $11,500 needed every month to pay for Ariel’s treatment comes from donations from nearly 35,000 people who have clicked the “like” button on Ariel’s Facebook page.

Company Fernanda Marques Arquitetos Associados has managed to create the perfect shelter from the metropolis bustle. Loft 24 / 7 in Sao Paulo is a kind of bungalow, where the environment plays a key role. You can feel high connection with nature even being in the house. Home design combines the style of country villa and modern urban residence. Rough stone walls look great with a floor made of limestone, glass roof and huge windows. Interior floor and ceiling finish is made of white, which creates a great contrast with the walls. Also you can see a plenty of antiques, which are specially selected for this project.

OsGemeos and Futura2000 in NYC
Street artists Futura2000 and OsGemeos have recently finished the new mural in Chelsea, New York. It is located on 21st Street. The project, which was started last Sunday, was organized by Allen Benedikt from AKANYC and 12ozProphet.
