Seven Sins, Four Endings and Two T-shirts

sevenSins main Seven Sins, Four Endings and Two T shirts
We saw this tshirt on I am the Trend’s blog and had to buy a copy. After wearing it a few times, we had to produce it as well. A master-work of typography by Joby Cummings, wherein each of the seven deadly sins are woven into the unmistakable likeness of a skull. Also provides a great reference source for keeping track of how to avoid eternal damnation.

Another master-work of typography by Joby Cummings is Four Endings, wherein the words death, judgement, hell and glory are woven into the likeness of a cross. Yet another reminder from Joby to always do your best to avoid that pesky eternal damnation.

Get the Seven Deadly Sins and Four Endings at Chop Shop despite the dark and foreboding themes — just in time for the holidays!

We Have Our Damn Dirty Ape Hands All Over This Design

weVolve main 600 We Have Our Damn Dirty Ape Hands All Over This Design

What started as a desire to make a tshirt design from a whole bunch of stuff has become an on-going project for us at The Chop Shop. The first incarnation was a bunch of internet memes on one tee, but things really caught on with the second design “weRobot”, a design featuring 51 celebrity robots. The newest incarnation is “weVolve” which organizes 37 celebrity primates into the shape of a barrel monkey. This design should have been the follow-up to the robot design considering that the planet will eventually fall into the hands of one or the other.

That’s One Nerdy Trio of Prints, Harry!!!

nerdrider hires 194x300 That’s One Nerdy Trio of Prints, Harry!!! craftsman hires 194x300 That’s One Nerdy Trio of Prints, Harry!!! squidrobot hires 194x300 That’s One Nerdy Trio of Prints, Harry!!!
A bunch of new prints suddenly appeared on chopshopstore.com and are even nerdier than a whole boat load of robot icons. Nerd Rider (left) is actually the original version of a tshirt that has mysteriously disappeared from our collection due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. The Craftsman (center) was inspired by the video game World of Warcraft and the actual real-life appearance of most of the “warriors” that play the game. Finally, The Squid and the Robot (right) was inspired by the prevalence of of both squids and robots in tshirt designs during the year 2009.

All digital prints are produced and printed on archival Moab Rag Bright white and the weight is 190 GSM. The size of these particular 3 pieces is 13″x19″.

DesignKins

This is my vision
a Clothing line based on
imaginative characters that will
inspire creativity and imagination.
I call them Kins.

To Experience art and feelings
all around simply by wearing a tshirt.
I want my Tees to be exciting like christmas
morning, I want people to feel like they have
something special every-time they wear a
Design Kins Tee or hoodie.

Many stories can be told through illustrated
characters, very subtlety, from the days moods
to outlooks on life. Which is where my Kins
come from. This is what I hope for my
clothing to accomplish.

149 Icons of Scary Celebrity.

horfan posterHold 149 Icons of Scary Celebrity.

149 icons of horror and fantasy gridded up on large sheet and served up on a wall. Chop Shop’s The Horror & Fantasy Collection screened print featuring 62 monsters, 35 vampires and 51 various icons of the undead all referenced from various sources of film, television, gaming, music, literature, legend and more. Perfect for taking to work, and killing productivity for an entire day. The piece itself is printed in 2 colors, screened on a 14"x36" sheet of 80lb black poster stock. Gift it this season, and watch the recipient of your generosity pore over all the icons for literally hours while trying to name each and every one.

Most of the 149 are also found on three tshirt designs; weScare (59 Monsters), weBite (35 vampires) and undeadWe (51 zombies, ghosts and spirits). All which have also been featured previously here on designyoutrust.com. See them all in high resolution here on flickr.
