Danish/brasilian software developer Mersica Inc. has launched Fatpaint (fatpaint.com), the world’s first online graphic design software. With Fatpaint, anyone can create pages, images and illustrations, and have it displayed on custom printed products such as iPhone cases, t-shirts, sneakers and promotional products. The products can then be bought or sold by the user.
Fatpaint is integrated with Zazzle, a world leading custom printed products company, so that at the press of a button, the design created by the user is accurately displayed on products from within the graphics editor. The user can then share these images on Facebook so that their friends can comment their design, and buy or sell the products on Zazzle.
The idea behind Fatpaint is to make it easier for people to create graphic design and put it on custom printed products that they can buy or sell. Prior to Fatpaint, it was a difficult task to draw and paint your own graphics, and have it printed on products. After making the graphics on your favorite graphics application, you needed to manually send the files to the printing company. This process was tedious, and if you were not happy with the design, you had to go back and repeat the whole process again.
Fatpaint makes the process of designing, buying or selling custom products much easier because it comes with built-in tools for painting, drawing and printing on custom products. Besides that, it contains an impressive collection of graphical content, such as fonts, public domain images, clip arts and brushes. Furthermore, images can directly be added to the project by searching on Wikimedia, Picasa, Flickr, Bing, Yahoo and Google. The completed project can be saved on Fatpaint’s server or your own computer.
With Fatpaint, users can publish and sell custom designed products like t-shirts, mugs and mousepads on their own webshop. The online tool connects registered users with Zazzle so that the designed products are sent directly to the Zazzle market place. For those not interested in making their own design, the Fatpaint website has a gallery showcasing products designed by talented artists from all over the world. All products are for sale and can be customized.
Visit us at www.fatpaint.com and try to design your own iPhone case, t-shirt or mug. You’ll find some great graphic design tools, over 900 fonts, 5000 cliparts, 15000 images and tutorial videos showing the basic steps so you can have a cool design ready in a few minutes.
People can talk about art for hours, being fascinated with its creations and discussing their meanings, or appreciating the talent of artists. Professionals, as well as amateurs and just viewers literary enjoy arguing about the most crucial element, the most valuable thing in art. Well, we all can have various ideas and call that key element by different names: aesthetics, beauty, imagination, creativity, uncommonness, genius, etc. None of the statements will be wrong; however, none will be completely true either. Some may assume that maybe it is the combination of all those notions that makes the complex core of art… We, in our turn, like an idea once suggested by the French artist Georges Braque, saying that “There is only one valuable thing in art: the thing you cannot explain”.

The return of the creature feature: it came from the cutting room floor! Sharktopus? Piranhaconda? Dinoshark?
There is no time to feel bad in spring. In fact, this season itself can even treat some minor conditions, as for example, moodiness and blues. The beauty of the awakening nature and the art of life (that is right, we can positively state that life is nothing but the form of art invented by some artist of genius) are also the powerful ways to get rid of some unhealthy symptoms. It would be fair to say that Cruzine magazine has its own methods of treatment of minor seasonal depression, anxiety, obsessions, phobias, and also such delicate condition as a broken heart. We usually prescribe the daily courses of such natural therapies as photography, illustrations, digital and 3D arts, architecture and advertising challenges, typography and technology treatments. Our motto can be “Curing with Inspiration!” and the most important benefits of our treatment methods are raising of the spirits, boosting the energy and vitality, and the increase of creative powers. Oh, and by the way, these treatments have no side effects!
