Popular Trail Closed After Two Giant Sequoias Fall
One of two downed trees lies across the popular Trail of 100 Giants at Sequoia National Forest, California, temporarily closing the trail. The Forest Service said the downed trees were reported Friday and no one was injured. Officials are still working to determine the ages of the trees and why they fell. Frietmuseum: The World’s First Museum Dedicated to Fries
The humble potato is getting some major respect at the Frietmuseum in the medieval city of Bruges, Belgium.
Created by the families Cedric and Eddy Van Belle, the Frietmuseum is an educational museum that explains the history of the potato from its humble beginnings in South America to the fry we know today. Though we typically know them as French fries, the museum’s creators prefer we used the name Belgian potato fry.

Rare Pictures, Artifacts of Titanic Exhibited Ahead of 100th Year of its Sinking
Old photographs, reconstructed suites, letters from victims and many original artifacts from the sunken Titanic are on display at Hans Christian Andersen Castle of Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen. “Titanic – The Exhibition” was opened to visitors in Denmark on April 10, 2011 and will run until Dec. 30.
