@sakiiii_97

The colors of fall foliage are often so vibrant that they’re the perfect palette for creating works of art. In Japan, many people are using the leaves for just this purpose. They gather the abundance of bold reds, yellows, and oranges, separate them by hue, and then arrange them into compositions that live among nature. Known as ochiba art or fallen leaf art, this trend reimagines the environment in a whimsical way. Although they’re visually delightful, the pieces’ existence is fleeting. As soon as the wind blows, an artist’s handiwork is gone with the breeze. Continue reading »

I love art, I love being creative and have taught myself so many creative things and techniques just by doing or trying them. I’m regularly / daily drawing the last two years. That time I started publishing my art on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and got a lot of response and amazing feedback! Working at the boarding school of a famous Austrian boys choir (where you see sheet music almost everywhere) brought me to the idea to draw on sheet music. And as people love and demand sheet music art it seems I will create more of it.” Continue reading »

“Bristol Fox”

“At this recognisable landmark in front of the Clifton suspension bridge I found a secluded spot where teenagers like to hang out and local foxes would come to look for leftovers. One night, I was setting up my camera in the early evening and a fox came out of the shadows. It came straight over, looked up at me, then proceeded to try and pinch something from my open camera bag. After that, it walked up this small ridge and I saw the picture I wanted to capture. It took about two weeks of long, cold nights before it looked up at just the right moment”. (Photo by Sam Hobson/Wildscreen 2016) Continue reading »
