E. Devin Vander Meulen ll graphic design – illustration interplay1986@gmail.com I am a designer because of my passion for looking at the world in unique and creative ways. Design allows me to research, express and problem solve that which I think, feel and observe through life’s environment. I have made it my personal goal to learn different aspects of the design world and other related media in an effort to become familiar with a vast amount of skill sets. This has ultimately enhanced the quality and execution of my design solutions. Engel is a collection of my work and demonstrates an understanding of such tools as: Typography, Illustration, and Photography. My design influences draw heavily from the Swiss New International Style. I admire the Swiss designer Robert Lindstrom for his illustrative approach to design and the American designer Ryan McGinness for his beautiful work in different design mediums.
