Gaudin House old barn converted into vacation house (1)
This barn, built in 1878, on approximately one mile above sea level, was used as a shelter for shepherds who led their animals for grazing. The animals were sheltered around the barn, in closed enclosures. The small cottage is located near Anzere, in Switzerland. Named Gaudin House, after the owner’s name, the house was morphed, by Savioz Fabrizzi Architectes studio, in a holiday home.

Wonderful architectural project in Mexico: The Cave

The Cave is an architectural project realized by the Mexican design studio Greenfield from Monterrey within the natural reservation “Pilares”. Part of the National Park “Maderas del Carmen”, the reservation lies on a area of 40,000 hectares and it is dedicated to preserving endangered species.

Realized by the architect Vincet Coste, Villa L’escalet is located in Ramatuelle, near Saint Tropez, on an abrupt terrain, with a panoramic, beautiful view to the sea. As an architectural design, the house resembles a building block made from independent volumes, which allow space saving, by reducing the passage ways.

The clients wanted more than just a habitable space, wanting that their residence would be a place of socializing and communication, which would connect all family members.

Old Montreal Loft modern and charismatic project by ActDesign
Placed in one of the oldest areas of Montreal, known, unsurprisingly, as Old Montreal, this loft was designed by ActDesign in 2014. In London and Montreal, as well as in Los Angeles, ActDesing received awards for the modern and charismatic project dubbed Old Montreal Loft. Initially, this space was built with the purpose of being used as a refrigeration space, so the architects were able to take advantage of sturdy concrete structure of the building.
