And he does not stop there. As he is known to draw voluptuous heroines, he can also draw muscular and armored protagonists, as well as vicious and dark villains and mechas/mechs. His works are not only given life in the world of traditional art but can also be seen materialized as Fraulein Revoltechs.
“Fraulein Revoltech Collections” and Pocco was the only figure there that caught my eye. “Fraulein” means a “girl” or “daughter” in German and a “Revoltech” is a figure which means dolls with movable joints that you can twist, bend, or move the limbs to a position that you want the dolls to exhibit.

Shunya Yamashita also made renditions of some characters from other animés. Aside from Shunya Yamashita’s Fraulein Revoltechs, he also collaborated with Kotobukiya that produced porcelain and plastic Bishoujo Figures that are highly acclaimed by graphic novel fans and figure collectors around the world. The characters that he drew and published on art books are based from the illustrations that he created for Kotobukiya. If you are a Japanese enthusiast, you might have heard of bishōjo/bishoujo (美少女) which is a Japanese term literally meaning a “beautiful young girl”. A term which can be seen depicted in Shunya Yamashita’s works.

Tesco Home Plus designed an augmented shopping catalog inside the train stations of South Korea. These virtual catalogs stood before the train entrance so that people could initially see Tesco products that are available for shopping.
Shopping with Tesco had been easy for people residing in South Korea nowadays because of the virtual catalog. The only requirement in able for shoppers to use the virtual catalog service and successfully purchase via their phone is that their phones must have a wireless connection available so that the phone could connect to the net and sync their order with their online account. A QR Code scanner is also required because every item displayed on the virtual catalog has a QR Code printed beside it so that user can take pictures or QR Scan them and initiate a purchase.
Here is a of the snapshots of the Tesco Virtual Catalog.

And if you want see how this QR-shopping is done, then here is a link of a video demo of Tesco’s Virtual Catalog.

Creative Headboard Designs
Cool and creative beds must come up with cool and creative headboard too. So here are my picks of the week of cool headboard designs.
Let’s start off with a revolving headboard from “De Sede”. It was designed by a Swish furniture company in Germany. The bed has a low-profile approach which gives it a nice couch-like feel and it gets even better when paired with the perfect minimalist objects and designs around the room. And it comes with a two-piece revolving headboard the enables you to place it on any direction around the bed. I bet you and your partner would have lots of fun experimenting with this De Sede revolving headboard bed.
As De Sede claims that ” standardized elements can be used for the slatted frames and mattresses thus allowing customers to choose their bed’s “inner selves” to suit their own individual requirements. These beds provide the ideal spot for virtually untrammelled dreaming – both by night and by day.”
Check it out:

I personally like this one since it gives out a nice zen look when this bed is place in the middle of the bedroom

This is another version on De Sede's revolving headboard bed

Gangs of Brooklyn Wall
“Gangs of Brooklyn Wall” was concept of by Vincent Sevilla, and Ian Carlo Magallanes curated by Digital Ninja Academy. Vincent Sevilla is a Digital Artist and a Photographer since 2009. He lives in the Philippines and focuses on new media as his career. Ian Magallanes is a Computer Engineer and also a photographer since 2008.
Digital Ninja Academy is a non-profit group composed of individuals that share information, art appreciation, and humor–until 9GAG happened. Digital Ninja Academy, commonly abbreviated as “DNA”, has a lot of participants in different countries. Some of the members of DNA came up with an idea to recreate manga and present it with the aid of photography and a bit of digital graphics and photo manipulation. And thus, they created the Gangs of Brooklyn Wall project.
The Gangs of Brooklyn Wall is an inspirational live Manga which came from (デュラララ!! or Dyurarara!!?). Here are some introductory and plot related pictures of the GBW or the Gangs of Brooklyn Wall project.
The artistic concept of the GBW live manga was the distorted hues of colors in pictures and the only manipulation made was the placement of the texts.

This is a photo of Luigi Domingo as “The Brawler” of GBW. Specialized in Mixed Martial Arts and swift hand-to-hand combat, he aims to rip all of his enemies apart.
Sadly, The Gangs of Brooklyn Wall project was put on a halt. The reason was the graphic designers wanted to change the whole concept and make it a movie or a short film with special effects instead.

BIG pictures deserve BIG captions
All the best pictures with all the weird captions from all the great stories. Have I said it enough?
Don’t Worry, I’ve Got This
This is a photo of a Pakistan Military Rescue Mission pilot carrying a man who appears to be a flood victim taken to a rescue helicopter. The soldier looked so cool in this picture with his red fluffy beard and his military suit. I almost thought of him as a character in an arcade or a Utopian guy in the 80′s.
