Huge or Tiny by David DiMichele
These works are the most recent Pseudodocumentation photographs. They were constructed and photographed between 2011 and the present. Some of the newer works use architectural settings that are a departure from the contemporary spaces I often use. Euroarch was inspired by a show I saw of contemporary sculpture in an ancient church in Amsterdam. LACMA Branches is based on the original building of the Los Angeles County Art Museum, which I have visited since childhood. I have long been fascinated by the huge empty interior space in that building, and imagine filling it with an immense artwork. – David DiMichele
