Self-Taught French Artist Creates Wistful Yet Heartwarming Creatures Fallen From The Stars

Anne-Marie Verron, a French artist, has given birth to a whole dream world. She creates textile sculptures under the name “The Bear Fallen from the Stars” (L’ours tombé des étoiles, in French). Each bear is unique and full of personality, it seems to have its very own story. Mohair and alpaca are scissor and needle sculpted to bring to life a new character.

Ululi-Ulula – suspended lamps

Collection of suspended lampsUluli-Ulula is a collection of suspended lamps realized by the Italian designer Mateo Ugolini for the brand called Karman. The lamps are globular in shape, the designer bringing to life his desire of bringing the moon closer to us, shown from the fact that the lamps resemble a full moon.

Special Plates to Take Pictures of Your Meals


It’s not always easy making your food look appetizing on Instagram. That’s why Israel’s Carmel Winery wants to fix that. Since February, they’ve been teaming with Catit, a Tel Aviv restaurant, to offer special Instagrammable meals and dishware on certain nights. The experience is called Foodography. Adi Nissani, a ceramic design artist, crafted plates specifically meant to make your food look more attractive on Instagram. Of course, there’s a built-in stand for your phone.

These Two Artists Create Amazing Miniature Fairytale Porcelain Creature


Ukranian artists Anya Stasenko and Slava Leontyev created these porcelain creatures below that took like something from a fairy tale. Gorgeous, strange, and very, very small. What is more surprising, their creators are not trained to work with ceramics. One of the Ukrainians is a graphic artist while the other is a painting teacher yet in ceramics they seem to have found their niche. Check out their amazing work below.
