Toys In The Basement: Beautiful Creepy Dolls By Annie Montgomerie
“I initially made hand felted dolls which featured different unique scenes on each dress. Animals featured more and more until I decided to concentrate on textile creature art. I use old fabrics, leather and other findings that i seek out in various second hand places to create my pieces. Recently I have been more experimental with layering fabric to give different effects. I have also started to create little animal head children using old doll bodies and vintage embroidered linens. Bodies Of Strange Creatures Were Found In The Basement Of An Old House In London
