The 14th edition of the Epson International Pano Awards has unveiled its champions, with Spanish photographer José D. Riquelme earning the top spot. This competition, dedicated to celebrating the finest panoramic photography from around the world, is recognized as the foremost global platform for panoramic imagery.

Hailing from Murcia, Spain, Riquelme is a passionate landscape and night photographer. Remarkably, despite his extensive background in graphic design and printing, he only delved into photography eight years ago. During his initial two years, he exclusively used his smartphone, ingeniously seeking captivating compositions in commonly overlooked and less photogenic settings.

‘80s Pop Culture Icons as McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys

McDonald’s launched the Happy Meal across the US in 1979, and it will forever feel very ‘80s. (Especially if you grew up in the 1980s.) Like so many ‘80s icons, the Happy Meal’s combination of tasty concept and slick packaging make it a design classic.
