In his time Kim worked on productions of such cartoon masterpieces as Jackie Chan’s Adventures and Godzilla, but his main brainchild was The Boondocks, an anime-style animated series about the difficult life of black guys in Illinois, based on the Aaron McGruder comic strip of the same name.
