Bondi Icebergs Pool Converted into Giant Esky
Thirsty visitors to Sydney’s Bondi Beach today aren’t hallucinating: That is an ice-filled, 36-by-15-metre cooler stocked with ‘cans’ of Jim Beam beverages. The brand, with Sydney agency The Works, constructed the giant “Esky” at the Bondi Icebergs pool – normally a landmark swimming pool that overlooks the beach. (“Esky”, a Coleman brand name for coolers, has been adopted into the popular venacular). Cast members of Channel Ten’s drama Bondi Rescue appeared at the installation this morning.
