Chicago photographer Dennis Manarchy created what’s being called the world’s largest camera. It’s 35-feet long and 12-feet tall it’s a working replica of a vintage accordion-style camera that produces 16- by 24-foot prints, the equivalent of a two-story building. The giant camera is on display in Monroe through November 17 because a Monroe company manufactured the specially-built trailer. Man Builds Wooden Model of a Cylon in his Flat

Wooden model Cylon is posed holding a newspaper in the flat of its maker, Ukrainian Dmitry Balandin, in Zaporizhzhya August 6, 2013. It took Balandin, who works as a crane operator, six months to build the model from 500 parts. Balandin says he does not use blueprints and designs the parts as he works on them.

He says he would love to build metal models but that is impossible to do so in his small apartment. He plays with Cylon as a child would play with a doll or Lego toy, and is now making a girlfriend for his model.
