Don’t Look Down: This Collection Of Mind-Boggling Photos Is Sure To Send You Dizzy

The impressive set of pictures were taken from the top of a 155-foot-high crane – by a Russian photographer who hoped to overcome his fear of heights. Moscow-based snapper George Lanchevsky captured the amazing aerial images while precariously perched atop the crane – with no safety equipment. Both George and his friends are shown throwing caution to the wind as take part in the impressive stunt. Other shots captured include the adventurous bunch posing in the middle of climbs up cranes and beautiful women posing on the edge of roof tops. Artists Raid A Polish Scrapyard To Build A Collection Of Recycled Metal Super Cars

In the Polish city of Pruszków you’ll find the Gallery of Steel Figures, an entire museum devoted to dozens of sculptures built from scrap metal salvaged from a local scrapyard. Their most recent addition is a collection of four iconic cars designed and built by roughly 50 artists over the last 5 years. The models include a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, a Bugatti Veyron, a Maserati GranTurismo, and a Lamborghini Aventador. A Collection Of Images Where Bicyclists Float Along City Streets With Invisible Bikes

China-born artist Zhao Huasen created this fun collection of images where bicyclists float along city streets, pedaling and steering invisible bikes. For the project, entitled ‘Floating’, the artist captured hundreds of cyclists going about their every day lives and he then digitally removed the bicycles from the images. The bicycle seats, position of the riders, and the shadows on the streets remain intact, allowing viewers to easily access the story of the picture. ‘World’s Worst’ Waxworks Collection Sold


Louis Tussauds House of Wax in the English seaside town of Great Yarmouth had been quietly disappointing customers for over 50 years when it rose to prominence in 2008 after being labelled “the world’s worst waxworks.” The museum shut down last year after owners June and Peter Hayes retired, but this month the collection of unlife-like models of stars, athletes and royalty found a new home when they were snapped up by an anonymous buyer from the Czech Republic. The waxwork heads above, if you haven’t already guessed, are of ’70s heartthrobs and “Starsky and Hutch” actors Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul. Of course they are. Indian Teenager has the World’s Biggest Collection of Pencils


Many are happy to collect stamps, coins or key rings – but not this stationery-mad teenager. Tushar Lakhanpal, 15, from New Delhi, India, claims to own more than 14,000 pencils in different shapes and sizes from 40 countries around the world. Included in his collection, which he believes could be world record breaking, is a gold-plated implement and two pencils, stored in an ornate box, thought to have been owned and used by Queen Elizabeth II.

The World’s Largest Hot Sauce Collection

Vic Clinco owns what is thought to be the world’s largest hot sauce collection. His amazing 6,000 bottles collection from around the world includes a rare bottle of “Blair’s 16 Million Reserve”, the hottest sauce on the planet. The condiments line shelves, from floor to ceiling, in the dining room of his home in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as being crammed into cupboards and the fridge.

He has been collecting the jars for the past 17 years and is widely thought to hold the world record for a private collection. Mr Clinco, who works as a staff cook at the Four Seasons hotel, said his most expensive bottle is worth about $900 – a one of a kind – and the most he has ever paid for a bottle is $400. FEZ Amsterdam Launches Its First Collection

On Tuesday July 30th FEZ will present their first collection of leather bags in Amsterdam. Witzenhausen gallery is the place where FEZ will launch its first one hundred leather bags.

FEZ, a new brand in which art and craftsmanship come together, is named after the place where the leather comes from. FEZ combines the authenticity of Morocco with art from Amsterdam. This unique concept is reinforced by its exclusivity; each bag has a serial number. FEZ has brought two worlds together: traditional leather processing from Morocco and the creative influences of Amsterdam. Every year, a different artist from Amsterdam will make the lining. The inside of the FEZ f1 collection is decorated with drawings from illustrator Nathalie Otter. Especially for FEZ she made a series of ten male figures with animal heads. Continue reading »
