The Artist and Brazilian designer Tom Veiga is the creator of the Waves Series illustrations. The bold yet simplistic cubist illustrations are inspired by the shapes, sensations and feelings that waves, sun and surfing evoke.
His work is characterized by many colors, moving in a few strokes, he always tries to explore each wave in details and to reflect the wave with a design vision. Tom also uses his art as a form of environment awareness. American actress and Golden Globe winner Halle Berry has collaborated with director Michael Haussman to film a new commercial in order to promote her own shoe collection called “5th Avenue by Halle Berry”.
The Bond Girl has joined forces with German brand, Deichmann, and introduced a collection of 40 summery, elegant and feminine shoes. The collection mainly includes peep-toe wedges, high-heeled sandals with straps, and slingback sandals perfect for combination with three-quarter jeans and a casual T-shirt just as easily as with the maxi skirts and dresses. The largest collection of stuffed dogs in the world, was created by the last owner of the Bitov Castle, Baron George Haas, who commited suicide in 1945 before deportation to Austria, at Bitov Castle in Bitov, South Moravia. The Baron had thousands of animals and around 200 dogs, of which 51 were stuffed after their death and are part of the Guinness World Record collection.
