1,800 South Park Cut-Outs Spread Across Five Sections at Broncos Game During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Cartman, Stan, Kenny, Chef, Towelie, Satan and yes, even Mr. Hanky, were among those in attendance at Sunday’s Denver Broncos game. Those South Park characters were among more than 1,800 cutouts from the long-running Comedy Central series in the seats of the south stands at Empower Field at Mile High during the game. The International Church Of Cannabis Has Arrived In Denver
For more than a century, it blended in, until bright colors bled from the walls and windows of a 113-year-old church in Denver. Now, the building near Wash Park is home to the Church of Cannabis, according to 9News. On 4/20, the International Church of Cannabis will open its doors at 400 S. Logan Street. Over 1,000 Protesters March to Pepsi Center in Denver
Over a thousand protesters here in Denver marched from the state capitol to the Pepsi Center on Sunday in the first major demonstration of the Democratic National Convention. Organized by the group Recreate 68, the protest temporarily blocked access to the convention site before police ordered the crowd to disperse. Speakers at the rally included antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan, Green Party presidential nominee Cynthia McKinney, and Vietnam veteran and antiwar activist Ron Kovic. Continue reading »
