Daughter Brings To Life Her Dad’s Dream For A Caravan, Taken From Plans Found In His Secret Wartime Diaries During His Time As A Japanese Prisoner Of WWII

WWII POW Reg Newman dreamed of returning to the UK and building the luxury 1930s caravan he’d designed. While incarcerated at a prison camp in Borneo, he made meticulously illustrated designs for the holiday home. When he was released after three years and five months, he was too traumatised to get his caravan made. Real Madrid Reveal Plans for $1bn Resort and Theme Park in UAE

Real Madrid have revealed plans to build a $1bn holiday resort in the United Arab Emirates that is due to open in January 2015. Here are some computer generated images showing what it is set to look like.

The resort will be located on the artificial island of Al Marjan in the United Arab Emirates. It will feature sports facilities, a marina, luxury hotels, villas, an amusement park, a club museum and a futuristic 10,000-seat stadium with one side open to the sea. Dominos Pizza Plans to be First Fast Food Chain on Moon

Dominos Pizza is planning to expand its fast food chain in a huge way by building a pizza restaurant on the moon. Dominos the world leader in fastest pizza delivery announced that it has been planning a pizza moon base for a year.

The Japanese arm of Dominos estimates the entire project to open a lunar branch will cost around 1.67 trillion yen ($21 billion), a price which covers construction as well as transportation of materials to the moon’s surface. The company will also require 15 rockets to transport 70 tons of construction materials and pizza-making equipment to the moon, The Daily Telegraph reported. Continue reading »
