The Real Objects Of Nature Preserved In Acrylic Cubes

3.8 billion years ago life began on earth. And over millions of years multicellular life evolved into land plants and forests. The colors and shapes of flowers, fruits and seeds all have unique purposes and are as beautiful as they are functional. Intent on showcasing the wonder and beauty of mother nature, Koichi Yoshimura developed a way to exquisitely preserve plants in acrylic cubes. He called them “Sola Cubes.”

The First Dinosaur Tail Discovered Is Preserved In Amber, 99 Million Years Old And Covered In Feathers

A dinosaur tail with beautifully preserved feathers still attached to the bone has been found preserved in amber, and it’s one of the coolest things we’ve ever seen. It’s not the first time feathers have been found trapped in amber, but it is the first time that researchers have been able to definitively link them to a dinosaur. This are the Forever Pizza slices made by artist Steph Mantis. They’re pieces of pepperoni pizza preserved forever in clear lucite. Unfortunately, this is not a “break in case of emergency” situation, there is no removing the pizza for consumption. I feel like that’s kind of a waste of pizza.
