These are the 20 photos that won the 12th Annual Mobile Photography Awards (MPA). The Mobile Photography Awards were established in 2011 to acknowledge and honor the skills and visual artistry of mobile photography and art communities.

This year’s competition attracted thousands of submissions from more than 80 countries, showcasing the global impact of mobile devices. Over the last 12 years, smartphones have continually advanced, providing excellent imaging technology to photographers worldwide, right in their hands and pockets.

Glenn Homann, an Australian photographer, has won the 12th annual grand prize for his diverse and impressive portfolio of images. His photos feature portraits, architecture, and street photography.
