Her prowess with architectural photography is well applied in her personal project, “Reflections from Above”, where she captures striking images of New York City reflected in the glass of skyscrapers. Llion and Dachshund – Friends Forever
A 500-pound lion and an 11-pound dog have formed an unlikely friendship, proving that cats and dogs really can get along. Bonedigger the lion and Milo the dachshund live together at Garold Wayne Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood, Okla., along with three other dogs. The puppies were introduced to Bonedigger in 2008 when he was just a 4-week-old cub. Continue reading »

The Joys of the Water Slide
Krista Long began snapping pics of people sliding down a water slide after many visits to the local water park with her tween daughters. “I set up my lawn chair to watch the entertainment as bodies shot one by one out the blue tube, suspended ever so briefly before crashing into the pool below,” Long told ABC News. “I started bringing my camera set to the highest shutter speed, hoping to freeze that moment in time just an instant before the plunge.” The result is an action-packed series of photos on Long’s Flickr page that show emotions ranging, she says, “from pure joy to fear, in anticipation of the inevitable splash-down!”

This photograph was taken while we were approaching the storm near Julesburg, Colorado on My 28th, 2013. The storm was tornado warned for more than one hour, but stayed an LP storm through all its cycles and never produced a tornado, just occasional brief funnels, large hail and some rain. The Colourful Hills in East Central Oregon
Layers of breathtaking colour streak the rolling hills of this vast desert, making the landscape appear as though it has been tie-dyed. The natural phenomenon, nicknamed the “Painted Desert”, was formed when the area was once a river floodplain.
Each colour corresponds to a different underground geological feature – rocks which have seemingly dyed the layers of earth above. Formed from volcanic activity, the hills at the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in East Central Oregon, USA, are almost bursting with colour.
