Splashes of Colors on Streets of Madrid

After spotting a photo on instagram of Spanish street artist Rosh‘s multi-colored sprayed corners, Guillermo de la Madrid took to the streets of Madrid to find more, and more he did find. These pastel-y splashes of colors adorn the street corners of the city, as well as other urban objects such as electrical switch boxes, pipes, and street signs. Sydneysiders Strut the Streets in Swimwear for AIME

Sydneysiders take part in the “AIME Strut the Streets” in an attempt to break the Guiness record for the world’s largest swimwear parade on December 7, 2012 in Sydney, Australia. New Network on the Streets of London Broadcasts News to City Workers via Recycling Bins


New recycling units, by private company Renew, feature news aimed at workers in the City like this one which was unveiled in Gresham Street, St Paul’s. The $48,000 devices broadcast news to the City but can also transmit updates during emergencies. Content will be provided by The Economist and the London Stock Exhchange among other outlets. The idea could be transferred to New York, Tokyo and Singapore.

Dancing in the Streets: Vintage Movie Musicals Posters

Film producer Mike Kaplan has been an avid collector of posters of movie musicals for years. As an exhibition of his favourites goes on display in New York, he offers a guide to the cream of his collection.
