The automotive industry in the Soviet Union spanned the history of the state from 1929 to 1991. It started with the establishment of large car manufacturing plants and reorganisation of the AMO Factory in Moscow in the late 1920s–early 1930s, during the first five-year plan, and continued until the Soviet Union’s dissolution in 1991. Built in 1934. Only one GAZ-Aero was produced by engineer Aleksei Osipovich. Its based on GAZ-A. Body is wooden and covered with metal plates. Standard engine was improved with aluminum head and compression ratio was increased. The speed of this car was still no match to other sport cars. Remains of Soviet civilization in one of the industrial suburbs of a city have been found by a Russian internet dwellers. Just like in the movies such as Alien, Prometheus or Planet of Apes, when you come at this area you will quickly notice these are the remains of a far more advanced cosmo-travelling civilization. A survived old Russian loco called “DR1A-2283″ (just like droids in Star Wars) found its last grave in Estonia and we have photos how it was. In 1988, Minsk Automobile Plant designers created a prototype of a truck called MAZ 2000 Perestroika. It was revealed to the public at the foreign Paris International Motor Show and received the highest ratings from foreign experts.
