“I’m Ryan Resatka. I’m an adventure travel photographer. I’m originally form Boston, Massachusets, and currently live in Southern California. I love Southern California just because it’s such a good proximity from Yosemite, Big Sur, Zion National Park that really inspired me to get into this in the first place. Adventure travel photography is a type of photography where you’re on the go. You’re still planning out how to get things done, photography-wise, but you’re not bogged down by tons of gear, and you wanna have as much creative flexibility as possible.”

“I shoot a number of different photography styles in this one photography niche, including lifestyle, nature, landscape, and find a way to bring it all together in a cohesive fashion. When I traveled from Boston, Massachusetts to Southern California I had really never been to too many places in the outdoors in general. So when I was going to some national parks like Arches or Zion or Yosemite for the first time it really blew me away, and it made me wanna see more that it had to offer. So I started traveling more and seeing more of these beautiful places, and I felt like they weren’t getting the proper image quality they deserved.”

“I was using a cell phone to start, and eventually I moved my way up into getting as DSLR and becoming way more passionate about it. Since then it’s pushed me to the boundary of being able to go across the world to find really amazing places and secluded locations to get those incredible photos that inspire you to do the same and wanna visit them, too. And for me, that’s exactly what travel adventure photography is about.”
