A Glimpse into the Mind of Yiiokii, Where Chaos and Creativity Collide in Harmony
Sam, also known as Yiiokii, is a 24-year-old creative director and visionary artist from Montreal who is renowned for his surreal and inventive works of art.
Photography and analog textures are expertly combined by Yiiokii to create distinct characters that inhabit his ominously imagined worlds. His work transforms images into eerie, compelling stories thanks to post-digital editing.

Inspired by works such as “Blame!” by Tsutomu Nihei, “Necronomicon” by HR Giger, and the Warhammer 40k mythology, Yiiokii’s creations bear witness to these influences while still retaining his unique style. Yiiokii has established a distinct artistic niche for herself. She was formerly a freelance photographer and 3D artist with a strong interest in Japanese animation and mixed media.
Driven by an insatiable quest for creativity, a quest that was intensified by a childhood with scarce internet access, Yiiokii now experiments with various mediums, including destroyed polaroids, paint, scans, and digital edits, to further delve into and expand his artistic multiverse.
