Léo Chiola is a French self‑taught comic book artist, concept designer, storyboard artist and illustrator now living in Montréal, Canada.
He started freelancing at age 20 in 2016 with Hexagon Comics (Le Garde Républicain), video games (Eredan, Mutants: Genetic Gladiators), then joined Boulder Media (Hasbro) as character designer on Transformers: Cyberverse (2017–2019), followed by 3+ years at Digital Dimension on animated series like Chase & Catch, Aiko & The Masters of Time, and Spellcasters MLM.
Currently he works full‑time as senior storyboard artist at Gearbox Software (Borderlands, Duke Nukem) while freelancing on comics/illustration for Marvel Snap (Spider‑Punk card), Fortnite, Massive Publishing covers (Quested, Forgotten Wars), Saturday Originals (Chase & Catch), and ImagineFX workshops (TMNT tribute, FX Posé artist of the month). He also teaches concept design workshops on The Gnomon Workshop and won Mad Cave Studios Talent Search 2023 (artist category).
