Family Leaves Husky For 3 Hours, Dog Redesigns The Apartment
Who said interior design is not for dogs? One Husky decided to prove the doubters wrong as soon as his owners went out to the movies. In only 3 hours, the aspiring artist turned the whole apartment into his canvas. The pooch released his inner artist by inking his paws and turning the floors (and anything else that got in the way!) into a giant piece of art. The artist even left his signature on the bed to prove the authorship. Although his new design had to be cleaned up by his humans, we hope that one day his artistry will be recognized. This set of pictures were provided by the Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington DC and dramatically brought to life after colourisation by British colourisation expert Tom Marshall.
After a thrilling chase through the busiest streets of Washington, a couple of bootleggers and their car come to grief at the hands of the Capitol police, 21st January 1922:

“I was asked to colourise these images of the Prohibition, perfectly capturing both the fashion and atmosphere of this fascinating chapter in American history”, said Tom. “In January 1919 the American Congress passed the Eighth Amendment, outlawing alcohol and ushering in the infamous Prohibition era. Throughout the 1920s the state tried but failed to enforce the ban of alcohol throughout the States. Those who opposed the law found ever-creative ways to enjoy a drink”, Tom explained. This year, to mark the 10th anniversary of the Cuprinol Shed of the Year contest, planners have joined forces with a fan site called Cabin Porn to run a Global category in the contest – and the designs are certainly envy inducing.

A Giant Ancient Egyptian Statues Unearthed
Egyptian workers lift with an excavator parts of a statue for restoration after it was unearthed at Souq al-Khamis district, at al-Matareya area, Cairo, Egypt, 09 March 2017. According to the Ministry of Antiquities, a German-Egyptian archaeological mission found in parts two 19th dynasty royal statues in the vicinity of King Ramses II temple in ancient Heliopolis. The first is an 80cm tall bust of King Seti II carved in limestone, while the second is eight meters tall carved in quartzite. Yes, This Is The Real-Life Waterworld Project
In 2009, Brooklyn street artist Swoon and two dozen or so friends crashed the Venice Biennale contemporary art show in hulking rafts made from New York City garbage. Called the Swimming Cities of Serenissima, the boats looked like something out of the 1990s post-apocalyptic movies “Tank Girl” and “Waterworld” sprinkled with a bit of swamp water. Photographer Captures Unique Photos Of Horses From The Underbelly
Majestic, charming and at times, aggressive; horses are the subject of Andrius Burba’s newest project ‘Under-Horse’. The Lithuanian photographer and his team described it as a back-breaking process. It involved digging a hole of three meters into the ground, placing a huge pane of ultra-strong glass on top of the camera and setting up heavy equipment surrounding the makeshift studio. Abushe, An African Child With Plastic Eyes
Abushe lives in southern Ethiopia. No one would pay any attention to him, but if you catch a glimpse of his eyes, their incredible magnetic colour will stop you in your tracks. Abushe suffers from the Waardenburg syndrome. One of the characteristics of this syndrome is an abnormal spacing between the eyes but mainly a special pigmentation of the irises.
