Spectacular Winning Photos Of The Eisa Maestro Awards 2023
The Eisa Maestro Awards 2023, themed “The Animal Kingdom”, has announced its winners. Magnus Berggren from Sweden took home the 1st place award, while the Public’s Choice award was bestowed upon Mirjam Radke from Germany.
The winners will enjoy extensive national exposure with their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize series being published in the EISA Photography magazine of their respective countries. Moreover, the international 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners will be featured in all 16 EISA photography magazines and websites globally, providing them with the most extensive audience reach a photographer could wish for.

Here are the winning photos of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2022. The Overall Winner of this year’s competition is Jennifer Hadley, for her classic photograph of a lion cub losing its grip on a tree trunk entitled “Not so cat-like reflexes”. This shot also won the Creatures of the Land category.
Up against 5,000 incredible entries from over 85 countries around the world, Jennifer’s image fought off fierce competition in the closest voting ever! The image was captured in the Serengeti, Tanzania when Jennifer managed to capture that moment a young 3-month-old cub tries to descend from a tree, and it didn’t go so well. “It was probably his first time in a tree” Jennifer said of the image ‘and he decided to just go for it.’ And luckily for us, Jenn.

“This 3 month old cub and his sibling were in a tree. The other lionesses were in other trees and on the ground. He wanted to get down and walked all over the branches looking for the right spot and finally just went for it. It was probably his first time in a tree and his descent didn’t go so well. He was just fine though after landing on the ground. He got up and ran off with some other cubs.” Continue reading »

The advantage of vertical farming, which was developed in the past year, is that it is free of pesticides with a harvest period of only 30 days with an average yield of 20-30kg a day. There’s really nothing quite like a good crap in the woods… You’re not staring at your phone while playing a game, or reading the back of the shampoo bottle to pass the time. There’s just leaning against a tree and taking the sights, sounds, and smells of nature! Well, now you won’t have to lean against hard, rough tree to take that nature poo, as someone has invented this ingenious strap.
It’s called the Crap Strap, or Krapp Strapp as so they’ve named it. It’s essentially a giant fanny pack, except the strap is about 10 times larger than usual and allows you to strap yourself to the tree to lean back and take a care-free poo or pee without messing up your trousers or your shoes. The Ocean Photographer of the Year is a celebration of our beautiful blue planet, as well as a platform to highlight the many plights it is facing.
Ocean photographers of all disciplines and experience levels – amateurs and professionals alike – are invited to submit their most impactful imagery to be judged by a panel of some of the world’s leading ocean photographers, including International Photography Hall of Fame inductee Paul Nicklen, founder of the International League of Conservation Photographers, Cristina Mittermeier, and Emmy Award-winning cinematographer Shawn Heinrichs.
A total of nine categories will be judged, with the overall winner crowned the Ocean Photographer of the Year in September this year.
