A $49 Milllion Miniature Megacity Being Recreated In A 49,000-Square-Foot Exhibit Space In NYC

A group of artists have created a new 49,000-square-foot exhibit of 300 miniature scenes of landmarks and towns from 50 countries around the world. Called Gulliver’s Gate, the exhibit features everything from a tiny replica of the Leaning Tower of Pisa to one of the Beatles strutting across Abbey Road. The $40 million exhibit, which opened in a 49,000-square-foot exhibit space in Times Square on April 6, will be on display until December 30. Continue reading »

What you’re looking at here is 194,900 Lego bricks. The pieces were constructed to recreate this life-size 1964.5 Ford Mustang V8 coupe, making it the latest and possibly greatest attraction at LegoLand Florida Resort (so far). It was built as part of a partnership between Southern Ford Dealers and Lego, and will have a permanent home outside of the Ford Driving School attraction at the park from here on out. Stonehenge Recreated out of Old Car Parts

‘Citihenge’, a recreation of Stonehenge made of cars, is unveiled on London’s Southbank by Skoda to launch their Citigo model. The giant sculpture provides Londoners with a meeting point to celebrate the summer solstice. Amazingly they might not need umbrellas, as it’s not raining today in London.
