Wow, this is extremely well done, holy smokes.
You may however be getting some hate mail from a few conservative folk that will question the subject matter.
Looking past that is easy, this stuff rocks!

These are completely RACISTS!!! Portraying black people in the form of Monkeys and Gorilla’s is degrading to the entire African race. It’s truly amazing that the NAACP, Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton has not tried to stop this non-sense.
I give these pieces TWO THUMBS (Opposable) UP!!!

Zippy… you can see just about anything as Racist if you look hard enough. The artist also did it to stereotypically “white” groups– Punks, Emos, and Nazis. Do you believe treating all people equally is racist? Because the artist has looked at all sorts of demographics to bring a smile to the face.
The artist also made a statement saying there’s no social commentary to any of these selections– they were just meant to make us laugh. So please, keep in mind— not everything is meant to make fun or belittle someone or an entire demographic. Lighten up!

I’m really into this. A lot of artists dress up animals in clothing, but to present ultra-realistic depictions of our direct ancestors wearing five vastly different outfits that each define specific human ideals truly does a great job of showing the silliness of modern culture. Look how far we’ve come, right?

Julia Malanina, author of the project, name it “4 of 5″ and advise us not to go any deeper with meaning here. The author also reports that photographs have no social subtext.
If this artwork force you to smile, the goal achieved…
