Kyusu & Yunomi is a minimalist tea set designed by Tokyo-based designer 83Design. Made of ceramic, this set comes in white, green, or brown. The company used a local potter, Sansuke, which has a history of over 150 years. The color and texture of the ceramic is a technique found only locally.

Edwin is a minimal fruit squeezer designed by Spain-based designer Natalia Coll. Proclaimed to be sustainable and everlasting, Edwin is an electronic squeezer made of wood and ceramic. The components within the machine are easily replaceable, and all of the pieces can be disposed without harm to the environment.

As part of the George Town festival, a month-long celebration of art going on in Penang, Malaysia, Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic is beautifying the city streets with his imaginative street art. One of his pieces is of two life-size siblings taking a ride on the back of a mountain bike. Interestingly, the bike is actually real and is propped up against the wall. The wall painting has provoked a fascinating and creative response from its visitors.
