Ksenia Schnaider’s f/w 2012 collection is a dedication to the working class.

The collection casts a romantic view of the common blue collar worker existing in banks, gas stations, dining rooms and hospitals as they drift from one day to another, silently making lives for us easier and more fluid.

The key pieces of the collection like white shirts, denim suits, overalls with patch pockets and soft jersey apnts are work-a-day pieces that are a common sight, yet overlooked – an element the collection wants to bring to the fore.

For f/w 12-13 fashion show, an elevator was chosen as a symbol of work, labour, jobs, careers and aspirations – themes that are common yet hushed in our world.
